Need a little pick-me-up? Beyonce’s got you covered. Late Sunday night, the singer posted a preview of Lemonade—a mysterious one-hour Bey-centric HBO special—on Instagram, and we have chills.
The trailer shows glimpses of Bey donning gorgeous cornrows and a swoon-worthy fur coat. Her haunting voice plays in the background: “The present and the past merge to meet us here.” Her glamour, paired with the stark parking garage she’s standing in, make for the perfect contrast. All eyes are definitely on her.
The rest of the preview is chillingly reminiscent of a scary movie; it leaves us a little freaked out but still wanting more.
According to EW, Lemonade is “a lengthy concept video.” But some fans are wondering if it has anything to do with a certain highly-anticipated album release.
