This year’s Met Gala transformed art and religious history into fashion, basically the ultimate epic move allowing influential people and celebs alike to rock their own beautiful renditions. Aside from the clothing, the makeup looks were equally as fierce. Here are our favorite makeup moments from the night that we’re going to find a way to copy ASAP, because you KNOW I’m heading to graduation with a full face of Fenty Beauty.
1. Rihanna
Of course the queen made it to the top. Rihanna is a boss and her smokey eye and natural lip acted as a classic way to command that subltle attention.
2. Ariana Grande
AG is glowing! This makeup has everything from the perfect eyeliner wing to that dazzling highlight. Summer 2018 anyone?
3. SZA
SZA slayed our lives with literal golden tears complemented by a shimmery purple eyeshadow and a natural lip. PopSugar reports that SZA’s makeup was “done by Samuel Paul for Pat McGrath Labs using products from the Pat McGrath Labs x The Met Limited Edition Palette.” Guess I know what my next makeup splurge is going to be!
4. Priyanka Chopra
Priyanka was stunning in a deep red lip with blazing golden eyes. Her makeup coordinated perfectly with her red and gold gown without feeling too matchy-matchy.
5. Gigi Hadid
Gigi kept it simple and sweet with a pink smokey eye and dainty golden tears falling from her bottom lash line. Her makeup was crafted by Los Angeles-based makeup artist Patrick Ta, incase you want to check him out for more inspo.
6. Cardi B
Cardi B was serving such a LOOK with those eyelashes, and her pregnancy glow is a plus too. She paired her feathery lashes with a pretty peach eye to complement her headpiece.
7. Zendaya
Not only did Zendaya show up to give us life as Joan of Arc, but look at her brow arches! Full, furry and ready to kick some ass. Furry brows all 2018.
8. Lily Collins
“Life imitates art,” and the bright red jewels dawning Lily’s lid and bottom of her eyes is truly a masterpiece. Her dark lip is haunting our most mesmerizing makeup dreams.
9. Amanda Seyfried
Amanda switched up the game with a floral summery vibe featuring yellow and gold. She’s the total embodiment of a sunrise, and this makeup is giving us major happy vibes.
