Hello Collegiettes!

Today I want to share with you one of my favorite fitness and nutrition things.

After my 8am (accounting class) this morning, the last thing I wanted to do was workout.  I even started my massive pile of laundry (90% workout clothes – bonus points), and was thinking of all the homework I could get done until my next class.  That’s when you knoooow you are trying to put something off.  Then I started reading on my twitter feed, and saw all of the posts from Tone It Up members – and it gave me that push I needed to get outside.  Tone it Up is a nutrition and fitness plan that two personal trainers, Karena & Katrina, made.  It is what they used to get healthy and fit, and decided to share it for the world.

I became a Tone It Up member 2 years ago and have absolutely loved it.   I totally forgot to mention – if it weren’t for them, I wouldn’t be doing this Lose the Freshman 15 challenge! They teamed up with SELF magazine and created the nutrition and workouts for the SELF Drop 10.  They are the real deal.  

But anyone can tell you how to eat and workout.  What they give is genuine support and a community of like minded inspiring woman.  This is the key missing factor in many workout plans.  With the Lose the Freshman 15 girls, we support one another, and it helps us all! Tone it Up has created a huge community that is so positive and inspiring.  Aside from having a great support system, the Tone It Up girls really care about their members.  There are TIU members around the world, and being able to connect with them on Twitter, Facebook & Instagram is amazing

During each spring, they have a Bikini Series, where they challenge everyone to kick it into high gear and get ready for bikini season.  The entire community shares their “lean clean & green” meals and workouts with #bikiniseries & #TIUSpringFever. Not only that, but to award their members for checking – in, they are giving away 4 trips to anywhere they want to go! Who does that? These girls! They truly care about spreading fitness and are so genuine.

I have absolutely loooved being a Tone it Up Member for the past few years and they have truly changed my life for the better.  If it weren’t for them I wouldn’t be sharing this with all you!! Talk about full circle stuff, yeah?  Each day they share great workouts, beauty tips, healthy & delicious food, inspiration posts, and their personal life.
