Currently Obsessed: Hungry Girl’s Back-to-School Survival Guide

For those of us stuck to full meal plans and eating every meal in a campus dining hall, it’s tricky to pick out the few healthy offerings from traditional greasy, shockingly high-calorie cafeteria standards. To ensure you don’t get tired of the salad bar within two weeks, email service Hungry Girl has created a great resource for collegiettes, a Back to School Guide.

You may know Hungry Girl from the 6 best-selling books founder Lisa Lillien has written, or from the Hungry Girl show on Food Network and the Cooking Channel. Their Back to School Guide is a great resource for anyone who needs a little inspiration when it comes to on-campus dining: they’ve got you covered from breakfast, lunch, and dinner, to healthy snacks and take-out choices. The guide includes easy ways to do breakfast right, tips for eating a healthy lunch and dinner in the dining hall, a guide to dining out, a roundup of easy meals, organized by the kind of kitchen appliances you have (or don’t), and a list of dorm room must-haves for healthy snacks to have close at hand.

Be sure to check out all of the Hungry Girl suggestions here and sign up for their daily email for more culinary inspiration!
