What is your favorite thing about being in a sorority at W&M?
The social connections are great but I’ve met my best friends in my sorority. My big and little are literally my best friends and my support system, and I would have never made it this far without them.
What other activities are you involved in on campus?
Tribe Ambassador, P.A.W.S. (Pets and Animal Welfare Society), Design Staff of Wing Nation, Editorial Staff of Bullet, and I submit to every creative writing magazine on campus, oh, and I’m in a social sorority.
What are 3 tips you have for girls who want to Rush this weekend?
- Bring these three things: 1) cute, comfortable shoes, 2) water, and 3) sunscreen & a blanket for sitting on the grass outside sorority court… you don’t want grass stains on that white dress.
- Come up with 5 memorable things about yourself that you can talk about, because you’ll get sick of talking about your major all day. People will remember you if you have unusual things to say.
- Everything happens for a reason. You’ll end up where you need to end up, no matter what happens.
What are you most looking forward to in your Junior year?
A new beginning, a new start, and a chance to figure out what really makes me tick and makes me happy. It’s halfway through college, and no one said you had to be stuck the same place you were 2 years ago.
