Of course, no break is complete without a little fun reading. Now’s the time where you get to read something other than Freud’s theory of psychoanalysis and since you’re working with limited time it’s a good idea to make sure you’ve got a good read already picked out. Included in our kit were a few copies of Dirty Rush and boy are we glad. If you’ve ever wondered what rushing a sorority is like, this book is a good place to start. Filled with wild antics, heart-to-heart dialogues and moments of self-reflection amongst a mob-mentality setting, Dirty Rush is sure to take you on a wild ride.
SABRE Personal Alarm
Whether you’re traveling far or staying close to home this break, safety should always be a priority. While it can be fun hitting up the town at night, the risks of finding yourself in a precarious situation are dramatically increased. If you want to err on the side of caution (which we hope you do!), make sure you have a means of calling for help if you need to.
