Fall is debatably the best season for fashion and wardrobe. As the leaves start to turn and the temperature begins to drop, there’s no denying the excitement to break out your favorite pair of boots or that cute jacket too hot for the other seasons. Every fall style has endless options, whether it’s cozy sweaters and cute jackets or knee-high boots in the season’s best colors. This fall’s fashion season has seen some major comebacks like the chic, business casual style which is returning to everyday wear for class, work, or a cute casual dinner. So, which staples and accent pieces should you have in your closet to have the cutest outfits for your fall festivities?

  1. The ballet flat

The ballet flat is making a notorious comeback in the trends list. You can pair a cute pair of any color ballet flats with trousers, a dress, maxi skirts, or even a cute pair of denim jeans. A chic pair of black flats with a bow at the top is timeless. They also can be a great way to add a pop of color with neutral fall colors as the base of an outfit.

  1. Leather accents

Nothing screams fall like leather. From pants to bags, this material goes with anything and everything. You can wear a nice pair of black leather pants for any cute occasion or maybe up your outfit for the school day with a chic black leather tote. I also love to sport cute leather jackets on chilly days, especially gamedays.

  1. Knee-high boots

Knee-high boots have always been a classic, but they are returning to everyday wear. Boots in any color can go with a variety of items like jeans, dresses, and skirts. Even denim shorts have become a great pairing on a warmer fall day. Boots are the perfect way to elevate any outfit from school, work, dinner, or a social event.

  1. Skirts

Everyday skirts are the perfect way to dress up a casual outfit. A knit maxi skirt is a great way to keep yourself warm in the low temperatures while still maintaining a classy, timeless, and trendy look. Skirts can serve for any occasion and formality—you can dress them up and down. They make the perfect staple to keep in your closet for every season.

  1. Pop of red

Fall is a season of neutrals: creams, nudes, and browns. Although these colors are some of my favorites, adding a pop of color always elevates the look, especially when it’s red. You can pair a pop of red with any neutral outfit with sunglasses, shoes, a bag, or even a red hair clip. Any vibrant color will do, but there is nothing like burgundy or cherry red to match your outfit with the fall foliage.
