This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at VCU chapter.

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! You’re probably deciding what to wear, which makeup look you should achieve, or just figuring out how to style your hair. There are endless looks for Valentine’s Day, but I’m going to show you my favorite YouTubers. Here’s a little inspiration to help you spice up your appearance and get endless compliments from a random cutie or your significant other. The three categories feature beauty and fashion gurus who specialize in just about anything related to looking fierce and being beautiful on a special occasion. Feel free to check out their channels for more fashion, beauty and hair ideas!

Jayla Watson (Glamaholic54) on YouTube shows viewers how to achieve simple bombshell curls using a 1-inch curling wand. She uses the Cortex 4-in-1 curling iron set to achieve this look. This curling iron set is pretty nice if you are looking to go from tight to bouncy curls. The Cortex 4-in-1 curling iron set is around $99 on Amazon. If you’re not into spending a lot of money on a curling wand, you can purchase the Conair You Curling Wand from Target which is around $22. This hairstyle would be perfect for a date or just a simple outing with friends. Jayla also has a Valentine’s Day Lookbook for anyone who may need ideas on what to wear for a date night. Her outfits of choice are very cute and affordable for college students.

Missy Lynn is a well known beauty guru on YouTube who is also apart of the United States Air Force. She may be tough but don’t underestimate her ability to create a marvelous smokey eye with a bold lip. Here she shows viewers how to achieve curls with shorter hair. This look is perfect for ladies who rock wigs, bobs or other short, fashionable hairstyles and want something sassy for Valentine’s Day. There are no fancy tools needed to achieve these curls, just a simple flat iron.

Elena Gant (EG Beauty) is a TV personality and beauty guru known from the hit Lifetime show Little Women L.A. On the show, she does her own makeup and recently created a YouTube channel dedicated to beauty and showing her fans how to achieve the same looks that she wears on the show. This metallic eye and nude lip combo is perfect for an elegant Valentine’s Day look to wear on a date with your significant other. Elena shows the products she uses for this look in her video. This is very soft yet classy and will definitely work with a white or black dress of your choice.

Leslie Alvarado is great with creating this sultry pink smokey eye look for Valentine’s Day. You could use the Naked 3 Palette to achieve this look or find something similar to the palette for a cheaper price. The peachy pink lipstick is a great addition to this makeup look along with the pink blush. To make this look stand out, you could add false lashes and also use gel liner to create a simple or drastic cat eye.

Raven Elyse (Raven Elyse TV) is another YouTuber I love because of her fashion sense and personality. She always has nice lookbook’s, especially for Valentine’s Day 2015. If you are a tall girl looking for inspiration or just someone looking for something different, then Raven is your friend. She is 5’10” and wears just about anything fashionable. Raven has a variety of looks for this video, ranging from casual to dressy. Defintely check out Raven Elyse for more fashion lookbooks, hairstyles, tutorials and so much more.
