5 Easy Ways Stay On Track With School Meal Preps

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UWB chapter.

When working all day and studying for classes you rarely care about what you’re eating and what it might be doing to you. Eating healthy is vital for a healthy body and mind. Here’s a few tips on how to achieve that:

Compose a plan

Make a list of some of your favorite healthy foods you would like to get. Try sticking to easy to prepare meals as it would make your preparation a lot more way easier. Also start to decide what snacks and meals you’ll be pairing together. This preparation seems tedious but it gets way faster and easier once you get the ball rolling.

Smoothies galore

Fast, easy, and versatile is why I love making smoothies. Preparing the ingredients, the night before will make the process very easy.

Stick to your meals

When leaving the house, you might be tempted to go and buy junk food from the nearest store. Don’t. Fight the urge and stick to the amazing foods you prepared for yourself.

Snack Attack

Most students love to go and by a bag of chips for their break. It may taste good but it will come back to haunt you in many ways. I suggest keeping many healthy simple snack handy. Weather is it be a fruit cup, trail mix or even fresh vegies with dressing, either it would be a great refreshing snack to keep you going.

Stay committed!

Although it doesn’t sound that much fun, meal prep can really change your life. Taking care of your body can improve focus, body problems and so much more. And as a student we need all the help we can get!
