Being able to go to a thrift store and find something that is unique, beautiful, and functional brings my wallet and I so much joy. Whether you are newly out on your own, or in need of a small vamp to your life but you don’t have the means or desires to buy everything brand new, thrift stores can be your best friend. Knowing what to buy and how to turn it into something you can be proud of is the trick. Just know before hand, almost everything you buy from a thirft store will have to be DIY’ed in one way or another.
