1 The Weather
The most obvious reason for going to school in Florida is the weather. Going to the beach and pool to maintain your tan is a frequent occurrence in our school schedules. Most students are from out of state and are not used to warm weather all year around, and it is definitely easy to get used too. We live where you vacation!
2 The Job Opportunities
Living right next to downtown Tampa broadens the job opportunities once you graduate. The downtown business district is expanding making more jobs available for graduated students. Not only jobs but internships as well. While you are enrolled in school there are plenty of internship opportunities in the area.
3 The Faculty
The professors are extremely experienced in the fields that they teach in. They have hands on experience as well as knowledge that could benefit their students in the future. They provide a lot of support to help all of their students succeed in the class no matter the situation.
4 The atmosphere
The University of Tampa is small in size making it much easier to get around. The small class sizes are a plus as well. The campus is absolutely beautiful as it sits along the Hillsborough river. The main attraction is Plant Hall, which was formerly the Tampa Bay Hotel, and it brings together the campus as a whole.
