International Women’s Day: Plus-Size Fashion Bloggers to Follow

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at USFSP chapter.

In honor of International Women’s Day, I want to celebrate and share a few stylish women in the fashion community. These are five of my favorite plus-size bloggers, entrepreneurs, models and or body positivity advocates who prove women should be celebrated on more than just one day. It’s refreshing to see women with bodies like mine, changing the fashion world and encouraging others to do the same.

Here are some of the fashionable and influential women I look to when I’m in need of style inspiration:

1. Callie Thorpe

On her blog, The Confidence Corner, and InstagramCallie dazzles her followers with bright colored and fun patterned outfits. In addition to fashion content, she also shares posts about confidence, lifestyle, travel adventures and charming photos of herself and her husband. Callie has been featured in multiple high-profile fashion magazines including Vogue, Cosmopolitan and Elle

2. Kellie Brown

Kellie is the creator of the Youtube channel and blog, And I Get Dressed. Her popular channel offers fashion hauls, travel tips, advice, body positivity videos and sneak peeks into her life. Kellie’s hauls have inspired me to add more dresses, patterns and a bit of sparkle to my wardrobe. Her work can also be found in outlets such as Glamour, Teen Vogue and O, The Oprah Magazine.

3. Nicolette Mason

Nicolette is one of the first bloggers I followed when I discovered the plus-size fashion community on Instagram. I adore her elegant style and use of statement coats and jackets. She is the co-founder of Premme US, an online store where you can find chic clothes from sizes 12-30. Nicolette has experience as a fashion writer for multiple publications such as Marie Claire, Glamour, etc. She also runs a blog where she posts about lifestyle, fashion, travel and beauty.

4.  Natalie Johnson

Natalie is the woman I go to when looking for bold, daring and simply badass style inspiration. She is a model based in California and the creator of the fashion blog, Shameless Creature. Followers of her blog can find posts about beauty, travel, her newest outfits and stores to find each piece.

5. Emma Hill

I can always count on Emma to deliver her honest opinion about a piece of clothing or brand. As a Youtuber, Emma shares informational plus-size fashion and beauty hauls as well as other content surrounding lifestyle and self-love. Her videos and posts present a combination of casual wear and formal looks with her viewers. She’s also the founder of AllBody UK, an inclusive online store that currently sells t-shirts and sweatpants from size small to 5X.
