Erin Gilmore is a second year Marketing and Management Information Systems major with a minor in Spanish. Erin is the social media director for the University of Georgia’s Her Campus chapter. Last Resort Grill! The food is amazing and the atmosphere is so cozy.
What are you involved in?
I’m the Social Media Director for Her Campus in addition to writing an article or two every week!
I have a job at the Ramsey Student Center, which is the best job on campus in my opinion!
I love helping people in need in whatever way possible! Every year I participate in Shop With A Bulldog, an event that makes it possible for under privilaged kids in Athens to get Christmas presents.
I’m also involved in UGA Heros, an organization that helps children with HIV/AIDS, I’m on the marketing committee!
Last but not least, I’m involved in the Wesley Foundation!
What are your future career plans?
I really have no idea what I want to do with my life, it changes almost every single day. But I do know that I will be traveling a lot and it will definitely have something to do with my diverse interests! One of my biggest dreams is to publish a book that changes the world.
What is one thing at UGA that has had a significant impact on your experience?
Getting a job at Ramsey changed my life for the better, I suddenly have one hundred new amazing people to get to know and it’s something that I look forward to every day when I wake up.
What do you like to do for fun?
I’m a person of diverse interests! I love to play sports, hang out with my friends, go to the gym or read a good book mainly.
