So the time is approaching when high school seniors and college transfers around the country have to decide where they want to attend school in the fall. Many may be considering UCSB…but I think that’s a mistake. Trust me, you do NOT want to go here!
1. I mean, the campus is absolutely hideous. I definitely don’t want to attend classes here.
2. And don’t even get me started on the dorms.
3. Eek, I bet the food there is awful.
4. Living by the beach? HORRID!
5. You will never find any fun parties in Isla Vista.
6. And you definitely won’t make amazing, lifelong friends.
7. People here are so unfriendly and boring.
8. Also, there is no sense of community, even during hard times.
9. Being a #2 research school is sooo overrated.
10. And having a nobel prize winning professor is really not all it’s cracked up to be.
11. Our gym is basically useless. Who would want to work out here?
12. And don’t even think about outdoor exercise.
13. The Mexican food in Santa Barbara is just BLEH.
14. Not having a football team sucks! It’s the only good sport to watch.
Whatever you do, do NOT choose UCSB. It definitely will not be an amazing experience. You will completely regret it.
