It was love at first sight. The moment you first laid your eyes upon him, you knew that THIS was the relationship for you.

His name was Netflix.

You immediately knew that there were few who would truly understand your love, so you tried, in vain, to hide it.

First your Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights began to slowly disappear. Then it was your Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays. Night began to turn to day without you even noticing. But you didn’t care because you had found the one. Netflix was always there for you, no matter what. And Netflix never once cared about your appearance, even as it slowly (then quickly!) starting going downhill.

But soon, your friends began to notice how you had basically fallen off the face of the Earth. When they realized just who had stolen your social (and let’s be real, academic) life, they staged an intervention.

Your friends helped you to see that this relationship could still work, but with BOUNDARIES!!

Finally, you are able to say that you and Netflix are in a good place! You have a happy and healthy relationship!

You know that this is a love that will last!

“This will be an everlasting love…”
