This week’s Campus Celebrity is Jon Prueter! Jon is a junior at the University of Arkansas, with a 3.9 GPA as a civil engineering major. He is also a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity, where he has held multiple executive positions. Everyone meet Jon!

Sports Team: For baseball I love the Kansas City Royals, but for football it’s the Razorbacks.
Instrument: The drums, I have my drum set in my room!
Weird Obsession: I really like trains, sometimes I like to watch them pass by.
Thing to do in your free time: I like rock climbing and hiking, just anything outside really.

What is your favorite part about college?
I really like being on my own and becoming responsible. It gives me a preview of what life after college will be like.
If you could go anywhere where would it be?
I would like to travel to Amsterdam, the city has always fascinated me.
How do you like serving as Grand Scribe for Kappa Sigma?
I think serving on my executive board is really cool. Not only am I member of the largest fraternity in the country, but I get to help run the fraternity. It has been a great experience.
