Spring is the time for flower crowns, which are perfect thing to wear to music festivals and summer weddings!  Not only are they a super fun way to accessorize your hair but are also super easy to make! Follow the instructions below to make your own.

What you’ll need:

Faux flowers (You can get these at Michael’s or Hobby Lobby)

Floral Wire (28 inches is usually a good amount)

Wire cutting scissors

Tacky glue/hot glue

Brown felt

Step 1: Cut the wire and begin making a loop for your head. Shape it to the size you want, and cut the wire if necessary. Twist the ends of the wire together to hold the shape.

Step 2: After selecting the flowers you want, cut off the stems of the flowers so they will attach easier to the wire.

Step 3: In order to make sure the flowers stay in place on the crown, cut out circular pieces of felt and hot glue them to the back of the flowers, and attach another piece of felt on the inside of the crown once the flowers are attached. This will make the flowers stay on easier.

Step 4: Add in smaller flowers to achieve the look you want.

Enjoy your crown!
