What’s Next on Netflix

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at SPU chapter.

So, you may not have studied abroad or gotten a golden tan this summer, but vacation still revolves around a break from school.

Let’s be honest, a break from school (a.k.a procrastinating) means Netflix. Now after suspenseful, drama-filled episodes, we know who Gossip Girl and A are, so what’s next?

Here’s a couple Netflix shows that will have you binge watching when you should be doing your homework due tomorrow.

  1. Mistresses. This modern, sexier version of Desperate Housewives has me counting down the hours until the next episode airs on ABC.
2. Grey’s Anatomy. This show is a classic drama full of scandals, heartache, and men in scrubs. Enough said.
3. Orange is the New Black. Okay, aside from the million vagina references, this one will have you laughing until your abs hurt. Who needs to go to the gym when you can laugh your way to a six pack?
4. Sherlock. Starring Benedict Cumberbatch, this detective show is suspenseful, witty and humorous. Despite the longer-than-usual episodes, you won’t want them to end!
5. Once Upon a Time. Who doesn’t love a modern twist on our childhood fairy tales? This one is a good story that will hook you from the pilot episode.

So you didn’t get to eat macaroons in Paris, or compare tan lines with your BFF, but don’t worry, you’ve spent the summer in the Upper East Side watching Chuck and Blair go back in forth for the remainder of the season.

Glad they’re finally together. Finally.

XOXO.
