Meet Lola Sosanya, our ASSP President for the year 2016 – 2017. A bit about Lola:
Major: Physiology/Pre-Med
Hometown: Portland, OR
Year: Sophomore
Where we can usually find you on campus: Weter, Eaton, or the SUB
Hobbies outside of school: “Sleeping, Spending (sometimes too much) money on food and coffee, Amateur photography, and “chillin’ with the homies”. “
What are you most excited about for being ASSP president?: “I think I am most excited for the new relationships and friendships that will stem out of this position. Making connections with others is something grounded in the nature of who I am. I am excited to continue engaging, as well as bring to the table my dreams and visions, but most importantly, the greater student body’s dreams and visions on behalf of the school. I am looking forward to watching the progress and development of our university. “
Summer plans?: “I will be participating in a 8-week research program at Oregon Health and Science University. The research focus is still pending, but I am very excited for it! Other than that, I am hoping to find rest and maybe travel domestically, like on a road-trip or something of the sort.”
