It’s okay to grieve. I know it hurts. Let’s take some deep breaths together. Ready?

Breathe in for 10 seconds…Now out.

One more time.

Done?

Okay. You lost someone deeply. You are hurt. You are wondering why this happens? To you? To that person? What did you do to deserve it?

You miss that person so much and you would do anything to have that person back.

But…you can’t. Life happens. The world turns every day and we must continue on every day.

Don’t give up. Look who is around you. You have your friends and I know you have your family.

They won’t leave you and they will support you no matter what.

It’s going to be a while. You will be hurting for a long time. You won’t get used to the celebrations without them.

Expecting a birthday card or a call of them saying “Happy Birthday, I love you so much!”

You won’t hear that persons voice anymore.

But…..

You have memories.

You have bad ones.

But mostly, you have the good ones.

That person is so grateful you were in their life and impacted them. Never forget them.
