Major: Psychology and Spanish

HC Siena: Why did you choose your major? 

SR: I am intrigued by mental health and would like to help people cope with difficult times in their lives.  As far as my interest in Spanish goes, I value the ability to communicate with people from different parts of the world and hope to utilize this skill in my career.

HC Siena: Why did you want to get involved with Her Campus Siena? 

SR: I wanted to get involved with Her Campus Siena because it has a great sense of community.  I love how the articles are relatable, entertaining, and helpful.  I hope to use my articles on Her Campus Siena as a platform to help people or to simply brighten their day.

HC Siena: What is your favorite part of working with Her Campus? 

SR: I think my favorite part of working with Her Campus will be the ability to connect with other women in college;  I am excited to reach out to and to hear from other people, both online and in person.

HC Siena: What is something that makes you happy? 

SR: Many things make me happy! If I had to pick just one, I would say that spending time with the people I love makes me very happy.  Quality time is very important to me because it creates lasting memories and helps nurture relationships.

HC Siena: What would your memoir be called and why? 

SR: My memoir would be called A Few of My Favorite Moments.  I feel like life has so many moments; so I would want to pick a few of the ones that I consider to be the most influential and empowering to write about.

HC Siena: If you were stranded on an island, what three things would you bring? 

SR: I would bring a journal, a camera, and a sword.​

HC Siena: If you could choose a mentor, who would it be? 

SR: I would choose Oprah Winfrey to be my mentor.  She is such an open person in general and is very hardworking and inspirational.

HC Siena: Why do you think everyone should read Her Campus Siena? 

SR: Everyone should read Her Campus Siena because all of the articles have a piece of them that makes their readers feel understood and excited, which are important feelings.
