Tik Tok is an app that is famously known for its dances, viral trends, fashion, and much more. As someone who spends an unhealthy amount of time on the platform, I can assure you, I’ve seen it all.
Whenever I scroll on the “For You Page” I always happen to come across accounts that are dedicated to sharing their beauty, health, food, or makeup tips and tricks. As a result, I often get sucked into buying new things and then test them out for myself to see if they’re actually worth all the hype.
I saw this Tik Tok from a user named @loren.izabel using the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer & Volumizer. It was a product I had not yet seen before, but the video accumulated over one million views, and the comment section was mainly positive reviews about the product. The before and after results of her hair amazed me so much that I ended up heading on over to Amazon and purchasing it for $64.99.

I was very reluctant in doing so, considering my mom is a hairdresser and at first, she did not approve of the product since she was not familiar with it. After conducting more research, I learned that the product was a winner of Allure’s Best of Beauty Awards for 2019. My mom was curious and wanted to see it for herself, so after reading a bit more about it, she thought it would be a good idea to give it a shot.
This product is available on Amazon, in black with pink accents or mint with black accents. The settings include both cool or hot air options and have high and low speed.
My thoughts
My hair is fairly thick and usually takes quite a bit of time to blow dry, but this product totally cuts that time in half. I went into this not really expecting much from the product but I was so wrong! It left my hair looking so smooth, very voluminous, and without any frizziness. I didn’t even need to straighten it after because I ended up liking the way it looked on its own. This is a fantastic time-saver since it gives you the salon look in no time at all.
