Holiday Gifts to Give When You’re a Poor College Student

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Providence chapter.

‘Tis the season to be a broke college student who seriously needs to get creative with gift giving this year!

I, for one, am already broke. My Christmas shopping began long before black Friday and I have yet to stop shopping. It’s bad. Really bad. But I just love the Christmas season and enjoy gift giving more than anything so it’s worth it! (I hope).

Below is a list of poor-college-student-friendly gifts to give this holiday season :)

These White Porcelain Monogrammed Ornaments by White Elephant Designs are so adorable, personal, and certainly will not break the bank considering they’re only $12 each including monogramming!!!!

These Target Women’s Velvet Scruff Slippers are only $10!!! I love slippers but I never want to buy them for myself, so if anyone else shares this dilemma with me, these are the perfect cozy gift for your mom, sister or bff! Also they come in two colors, I want them both!

Target strikes again with their Rose Gold Jewelry Case with Interior Earring Holders only $10! This gift is practical and cute! It comes in sooo many beautiful colors and in cheetah! You will prevent the tragic loss of many jewelry essentials with this compact jewelry storage case that’s perfect for travel! (Also Target is offering free shipping until 12/23)

My friends and I each bought on of these Etsy Monogrammed multi color confetti stemless wine glasses for NYE and I’m so excited to break mine out! Personalized gifts are honestly THE best, get one for yourself too while your at it! Only $13!

Available for Weekends Luggage Tag & I’m Outta Here Luggage Tag $10!

TjMaxx Bath Soap Ornaments only $3.99! & Festive OPI Nail Polish Colors for $3.99!

Happy Shopping!
