There’s one thing that I’ve heard from several people – makeup and skin just don’t mix well in the cold weather sometimes. BUT with these products, you’ll survive the Fall and Winter with a little more ease.
1. Evian Mineral Water Facial Spray/Mist – This is good to have because they vary in sizes and you can keep one in your book bag or purse. When your skin is starting to feel a little dry or too cold, just spritz a little and feel refreshed. (http://www.urbanoutfitters.com:80/urban/catalog/productdetail.jsp?id=329…#urbanoutfitters)
2. Bliss Fabulips Sugar Lip Scrub – This works wonders. When Winter really starts hitting and you get dry or cracked lips, put this on, leave it for about five minutes, and wipe with off with a moist towel. It’ll leave your lips feeling soft, smooth, and shiny! (https://www.thebeautyplace.com/bliss-fabulips-sugar-lip-scrub-0-5oz.html)
3. BB Cream – If you want a cream that fixes your dry patches AND gives you coverage like a foundation would, you definitely need a BB cream. It’s like killing two birds with one stone – it’ll help smooth over and hydrate dry areas and cover any blemishes that are bothering you. These are easy to find – just go to the Beauty section in your local Walmart, Target, or Drugstore.
4. Waterproof Mascara – No one wants runny mascara, especially when it’s cold and it could stick to your face! Wearing a waterproof mascara while the cold is out will ensure that this won’t happen to you and it’ll keep your face fresh-looking throughout the day. If there’s ever a time when you just don’t feel like going the extra mile, just put a little mascara and lipstick on and you’ll be good to go!
5. Defrizzer – Although there may not be as much humidity out because it won’t be warm, your hair may still get frizzy or even staticky, which is just as frustrating. Having a good defrizzer will be handy when that happens, and it will also give your hair a nice shine! I personally use the Paul Mitchell Smoothing Super Skinny Serum, but test a few out and see which one you like best.
Keep in mind that you don’t just need to buy these things for the cold weather, they work during any season, but to assure that you keep your face hydrated and soft when the cold starts to hit – see if you can grab some of these items ASAP.
