Have you had any internships? “I interned at Vaunt & Sole, which is a company that sells luxury clothing that do not conform to the normal standard of beauty. Their clothes are not just for skinny white models; they’re for everyone. I also interned at Milk, as a writing and editorial intern over the summer.”

What are some articles you wrote for Milk? “One of my favorites is was a piece about a guy who surgically added a third ear to his left arm. The ear was actually a microphone that recorded his every word. It was wild.”

Most awkward moment while working at Milk? “When Chris Martin mistook me for a groupie! I was supposed to get a quote from him for an article. So I was hanging around him, trying to weave myself into his inner circle. When I finally got to talk to him, I asked him for a picture for the article. A women took my phone and snapped a pic of me and Chris Martin. And I thought to myself, “Wait. No. I can’t use this in the article,” but it was too late. I had to leave, and I was dying! I never really liked Coldplay, and I don’t want to be known as a Chris Martin groupie creepy girl!”

Why Pace? “I’m not too fond of the administration, but I really enjoy the kind of professors that teach here. Most of the professors I’ve had have been very caring. I’ve had professors that have really advocated for me when others wouldn’t.”

Best Class at Pace? “Literature of Diversity with Stephanie Hsu, and Sexuality & Society with Jason Whitesel.”

Currently watching? “The Flash, Master of None and Nathan for You”

Currently Reading? “Last Words from Montmarte by Qiu Miaojin”

Last concert you went to? “Years & Years at Terminal 5 a few months ago.”

Any pets? “A precious corgi named Elwood. I dressed him up as a banana for Halloween!”

One food that I couldn’t live without? “I refuse to answer. This question needs more deliberation.”

Celebrity Crush? “Karl Marx”

Two truth and a lie:
  1. Girls is my all-time favorite TV show.
  2. I’m writing my thesis on sex memes.
  3. I have a birthday party for my dog every year.
