Every college student knows how big Halloweek really is. It’s more than just the one night on Oct. 31. It’s a whole week of parties, costumes and very little sleep. Here is a guide to help everyone from a freshman who has never experienced it, to a senior who’s going out one last time before they graduate.
Here’s what TO DO:
-
HAVE FUN
-
KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR DRINK
-
FIND A BUDDY BEFORE THE PARTY AND CHECK ON THEM THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT
-
EAT BEFORE YOU GO
-
POUR YOUR OWN DRINK OR WATCH IT BE POURED
Here’s what NOT TO DO:
-
LEAVE YOUR GROUP
-
DRINK TOO MUCH
-
LET ANY OF YOUR FRIENDS LEAVE WITH SOMEONE YOU DON’T KNOW
-
DRINK AND DRIVE
-
ACCEPT A DRINK FROM A STRANGER
While Halloweek can be a really fun time, you have to be smart about it and make sure you are aware of your surroundings at all times. If you ever feel uncomfortable, call someone.
