‘Twas the Night Before Club Fever

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Notre Dame chapter.

‘Twas the night before Club Fever, when all through the dorm

Not a paper was written, not even a form.

The bandage dresses were hung by the wardrobes with care,

In hopes that sexy Nicholas would also be there.

The RA’s were nestled all snug in their beds,

While visions of cheap “Sex on the Beach” drinks danced in their heads.

And roomie in her sexy jeans, and I in my heels,

Had just called the Uber, ready to show up in its wheels.

When out on the quad there arose such a clatter,

I sprang from the futon to see what was the matter.

Away to the window I flew like a flash,

Tore open my flask and readied my cash

The moon showed drunk Domers all out in the snow

And gave the lustre of the empty beer cans visible below.

When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,

But our Uber driver on Main Circle, who was now super near!

With a little old driver, so lively and quick,

I knew that the line at Feve would be very thick.

More rapid than the spending of Flex Points club goers they came,

And they whistled, and shouted, and called to their drunk friends by name!

“Now Katie! Now, Matthew! Now, Patrick and Sarah!
On, Michael! On, Anna!

On John, on Elizabeth!  Ready for the hottest club in Michiana!?!?

To the top of the dance floor! To the top of the bar!

Now drink away! Dance away! Party away, all!
