I don’t know if you heard, but the Notre Dame women’s basketball team just became NATIONAL CHAMPIONS. Suffice to say, the hype was real. After an entertaining AF game against UConn, the ladies played a similarly intense game against Mississippi State where Arike Ogunbowale shot another buzzer beater to clinch the title. Say it louder for the people in the back.

We love a petty tweet.
One day Notre Dame will have a football team that the women’s basketball team can be proud of.

This Muffet reaction and a s/o from Digger? Alright, alright.
From Ara Parseghian in football to Muffet McGraw in women’s basketball…two of the best coaches in my journey at Notre Dame. So proud of you and the Muffettes tonight. Go IRISH!! pic.twitter.com/ReTgBgtCvV

Who do we have to talk to to get this done?
This one is simple, Notre Dame: You clear some space outside the Joyce Center tomorrow, and then you commission the Arike Ogunbowale statue.

When your a Catholic school so God is on your side…

Some subtle shade at the men’s tournament seems fitting.
I’m not expecting much from the NCAA Men’s Final Four Championship game tomorrow but if you didn’t see the Women’s Championship tonight then you missed one of the most exciting basketball games I’ve seen. More Women’s sports, please.

Same.
Notre Dame women’s basketball. Wow.
