The Her Campus Summer Survival Kit Will Keep You Fresh All Summer Long

Even though finals week might feel like a whole month, Summer is thankfully an actual three-month period for us to relax, come home from jobs or internships without any papers, and to just hangout with friends and family.

Thankfully, the HerCampus Summer Survival kit for this year will keep you looking fresh during every wave of heat and humidity.

For those who shave and want smooth summer skin, the Skintimate Exfoliating Warm Vanilla Sugar razors, with their four blades and vanilla sugar scented handle, will keep your skin soft and smelling good. Pair these razors in the shower with Skintimate’s Raspbery Rain Shave Gel, a hydrating formula with Vitamin E and olive butter. All that sun this summer can be really drying for the skin, so the moisturizing Skintimate shave gel, with its fresh raspberry fragrance, is an obvious choice. The gel also offers ultimate razor protection and a close, luxurious shave.

Now that your legs smell like vanilla and raspberry, you don’t want your breath to stink, especially when you’re talking to a cutie at the beach. You can get the new Extra Refreshers gum at any Walmart, CVS, or Walgreen’s, and something as little as sharing a piece of gum with a cutie at a party this summer can spark something new. The gum even comes in three flavors: Spearmint, Tropical Mist, and Polar Ice.

Don’t forget to check out Innisfree’s Cica Balm and Bija Seed Oil. Innisfree is the number one Korean beauty brand on the market right now, and their stores are popping up all around New York and Los Angeles. The Cica Balm gently takes care of troubled and acne-prone skin. This is a great product for that time of year when skin gets sweaty and oily, since it’s a lightweight gel-balm formula, which strengthens the skin’s protective barrier while improving an uneven skin tone. The Balm can be used as a moisturizer in the morning or at night, or you can just use it for targeted care on specific areas.

Lastly, don’t forget your hair! Verb’s Ghost shampoo and Ghost conditioner does not only detangle, defrizz, and soften hair, they also offer UV protection. Between being in the sun all day, and soaking in chlorine from the pool or saltwater from the beach, summer is not a good time for your hair’s health. Make sure to rinse off and condition at the end of the day with Verb’s perfect duo.
