November's Not-So-Common National Days

The beautiful month of November is upon us, and many people’s thoughts will jump to one of the country's oldest celebrated holidays. Ever since the Pilgrims and Indians came together in 1621, we have celebrated Thanksgiving. Ironically enough, November is the national month of many more interesting and somewhat odd days than just that. Here’s to celebrating all month long!

Keep in mind: November offers a lot of really whacky, yet also really positive days. Probably one of the most important aspects of November is that it is the National Month of Lung Cancer Awareness, Transgender Awareness, Prematurity Awareness and National Native American Heritage month. This month, let’s all be thankful for what we have, and keep others in our thoughts as we reflect on what’s truly important in our lives.
