Well, well, well. Here we are again. I have some brand new favorites to share with whoever you are. Of course, there might be some repeats. If there are, do not say a word about it. They are my comfort songs. You know how people have comfort shows? Yeah, I have comfort songs.

  1. EMPTY by Chase Atlantic

Of course the first song is by my favorite artist of all time. I’ve been listening to this song nonstop while I’m waiting for their third album to be released this week. Chase Atlantic isn’t for everyone. They are almost an acquired taste. However, if you like alternative meets techno, definitely give them a listen.

  1. Inuyasha by Mahmood

Something about Italian music makes me happy and gives me serotonin. When I discovered my favorite Italian artist dropped a brand new song, I ate that song up like it was candy. This song gives me very much Soldi vibes if you ever heard it slowed down in an edit or are an avid Eurovision watcher like me.

  1. I’m Not A Vampire – Revamped by Falling In Reverse

I was an emo kid growing up. My Chemical Romance, Black Veil Brides, Pierce The Veil, you name it, I listened to it. However, my favorite band was always Falling In Reverse. This song is very nostalgic because it’s not new. The way the song is produced is new though. It’s like a blast to the past.

  1. parent song by Jeremy Zucker, Chelsea Cutler

This song feels like a hug. At first, I hated this song. I really did. I’m not even going to lie. February was sort of a difficult month, so this song seemingly got me through the month without me knowing until I checked my Spotify On Repeat playlist.

  1. Begin by Lauren Sanderson

As a Midwest kid, it’s important for me to support a fellow former Midwest kid. Lauren Sanderson is a huge role model for me. She is an openly gay woman living in California and proving you can make your dreams come true no matter where you’re from. She has really inspired me with her music career to go after what I want.

  1. Trap Queen by Fetty Wap

Now this is a major throwback to my middle school days. Something about this month made me miss the old days and just feel incredibly nostalgic. I mean, my most played playlist was my playlist dedicated to my favorite childhood songs. That’s how you know it was a nostalgic month.

  1. DNA. by Kendrick Lamar

I honestly can’t remember if this was included last month. This has been my go to song to play in the car when running errands or simply driving around thanks to this nice weather. The amount of people I hear blasting this song makes me hide the fact I enjoy it, but here I am exposing myself.

  1. Beauty And A Beat by Justin Bieber

This is my go to Just Dance song. No one gets as hyped to this song as I do. Mark my words. If I hear this song anywhere at any time, I will bust out the moves I have drilled into my brain from Just Dance. This is one of his best songs. Keep your different opinion to yourself. The vibes with this song are unmatched.

  1. International Love (feat. Chris Brown) by Pitbull

Listen, I do not support Chris Brown. I promise I don’t. When this song blew up on TikTok and was everywhere, it somehow found its way onto multiple playlists of my own. This is by far my favorite song Pitbull has ever released. This song honestly makes me want to go as Pitbull for Halloween this year. I might have to.

  1.  Clarity by Zedd

Of course I’m finishing this list off with a banger. If you don’t scream the lyrics to this song in the shower or while driving, are you living? I mean that in the nicest way possible, I promise. This song feels like the ultimate nostalgic song people play. This or Year 3000.

I know this list contained more throwbacks than underrated songs, but sometimes all you need is a blast to the past to get through the month. Enjoy this short yet sweet list while I work on getting back onto my lesser known music. I’ll be back with some newer songs for March. Warning, there will be a lot of Chase Atlanic. I’m sorry in advance.
