I have always been obsessed with skincare and preserving my face to be the healthiest and cleanest possible, from the material of my pillowcases to never touching my face with my hands – like ever. I have dry skin with the occasional pimple that never fails to appear like clockwork the day before an event. I have spent way too much money on expensive products that have sworn to be game changers in the skincare industry, but have actually made it harder to keep my skin clean. Being on trend with the latest and greatest in the beauty industry does not have to be costly with my regimen! Here are six products you need to check out ASAP:

1. Dickinson’s Witch Hazel Pore Perfecting Toner: This product is a hidden gem and at only $4 and I cannot believe that it is not in everyone’s bathroom. My motto for putting anything on my face is “less is more” so with only four ingredients (all which are natural), this product gives my face a natural glow and the confidence to go makeup-less all day.

2. Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser: I have used Cetaphil products for almost five years and the brand has never failed to benefit my skin. I also frequently use the daily moisturizing lotion as well all over my body. For sensitive skin like mine, fragrance free products have made such a difference in preventing my skin from becoming blotchy.

3. Neutrogena Face Sunscreen Lotion: This is the only sunscreen that I am able to put on my face with confidence that I will not get burned and/or break out from. I have tried numerous other face lotions which caused an instant burning reaction. It is a good habit to wear sunscreen whenever the sun is out to protect your face from the harsh rays.

4. Eyelash and Eyebrow Natural Growth: A couple months ago, I partnered with a natural hair care company that sent me their potion for eyebrows and eyelashes to grow instantly! The product is relatively cheap compared to getting extensions, so message me for the link!

5. Neutrogena’s Hydro Boost: I have naturally dry skin with a random pimple once in a while, so moisturizer is very important to me. Because my dry skin produces excess oil, I like to counteract it with a moisturizer. This moisturizer, just like all Neutrogena products, goes on super light and feels like nothing is on your face.

6. Makeup Wipes: This is the most important step in keeping your skin the cleanest possible! It does not even matter what brand you use, but my favorites are Neutrogena’s and Dickinson’s wipes. As long as every night you take off your makeup and sunscreen before setting your face on your pillow, you are helping to clear your skin.

Scrolling through my list you might realize that all of my favorite products can be purchased at your local drugstore. More expensive products I have found contain harsh chemicals that can make it more difficult to keep your skin clean. This is not my everyday skincare routine because using too many products everyday is extremely harmful to your skin, but I use them whenever necessary when a problem spot occurs.
