Tommy Hilfiger’s Spring 2017 show kicked off fashion week from the west coast on February, 8th. The show, which took place in Venice Beach, California, dubbed TOMMYLAND, played off his interactive Fall ’16 show TOMMYPIER. The designer collaborated with model Gigi Hadid for the second season of #TommyxGigi, combining east coast and west coast style into the collection. As part of the “see-now-buy-now” method many designers are adopting, the pieces became available online as soon as they hit the runway. The brand’s Spring ’17 collection has a 70’s streetstyle vibe, and is all about transforming old classics into pieces made for the new world and bringing together the aesthetic of fashion, art, music and culture.
