Rock The Boots

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Lehigh chapter.

Do you look in your closet every morning either stressing over which color and height of boot you should wear, or scratching your head wondering why you don’t have any boots to wear at all? Well, it’s true, every girl should have at least one pair of boots that you can strut your stuff in. A pair that makes you feel beautiful and are easy to throw on with leggings or skinny jeans. I don’t know if you ladies know this but there are millions beyond millions of different styles, colors, and heights of boots out there. I know in my closet I range from tall boots, brown and black, to short brown boots to my favorite boots of all, cowboy boots. You might be thinking, cowboy boots … really? As soon as you slip a pair on your feet you will never want to take them off. They come in millions of colors and designs and are SO comfortable. And think about it, you can wear them with a dress, a jumper, leggins, and jeans. They never go out of season. Ever. Well, in my world at least. I dare you to try this look. Its bold yet sexy. Guys love girls in cowboy boots. It adds a little sass to your personality which spices everything up. So ladies if your thinking of trying this look I have a few tips.

  1. Find a color you can wear with many things, brown for instance is a wonderful color to invest in. Even if they wear and tear, it adds character to the boot.
  2. If your feeling bold, go for red, or mahogany. Red is a great color to add to a black outfit in order to make the outfit look a little less plain.
  3. Don’t be embarrassed. Just because you’re not from the south doesn’t mean you can’t live the life of a country girl!

The best way to buy cowboy boots is in the store, they are a boot you need to try on. But if you already know your size, color, height, and style there are stores online too!
