10 Classic 90’s Movies Everyone Should Watch

Everyone has a favorite classic 90’s movie they enjoy. Check out these classic movies and see if yours is mentioned.

She’s All That (1999)

Set in the nineties high school scene, two best friends place a bet to turn any girl in school into the perfect prom queen after one of the boys gets dumped by the most popular girl in school. This rom-com stars Freddie Prince Jr., Rachel Leigh Cook, and Matthew Lillard.

Clueless (1995)

“Ugh, as if!”  A rich, popular girl and her best friend try to help a new student become as popular as they are. Along the way, there are complications that interfere: teenage drama, confusion, life, and boys. This classic rom-com stars Alicia Silverstone, Stacy Dash, Brittany Stone, and Paul Rudd.

The Bodyguard (1992)

A specialty-skilled bodyguard is hired to protect a famous singer who’s being stalked and threatened by an unknown suspect. While protecting his client, he must make sure any feelings he has doesn’t blindside him while on the job. This romance-drama stars Whitney Houston and  Kevin Costner.

Edward Scissorhands (1990)

This fantasy-romance tells the story of a man who has scissors for hands. When a suburban mother finds out that he is living alone, she takes him in and teaches him the life he could have. This fantasy film stars Johnny Depp, Winona Ryder, and Dianne Wiest.

Titanic (1997)

The romantic tale upon the tragic shipwreck of the Titanic. A young woman falls in love with a young artist and discovers herself in a new way. This romance stars Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Romeo + Juliet (1996)

Taking a modern twist on a classic, Romeo + Juliet maintains the original Shakespearean dialogue but is set in Verona. This classic tale stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes.

Hook (1991)

“Bangarang!” Peter Pan has grown up and become a typical adult. One day, Captain Hook kidnaps his children, forcing Peter to return to Neverland to rescue his children. This adventure film stars Robin Williams, Dustin Hoffman, and  Julia Roberts.

The Sandlot (1993)

In the summer of 1962, the neighborhood boys play baseball with the new kid to the neighborhood. Along with summertime baseball, the boys find themselves in adventures that make their bond stronger. This comedy stars Tom Guiry, Mike Vitar, and Art Lafleur.

The Mask (1994)

A bank clerk’s life gets turned upside down when he discovers a magical mask that transforms him into a cartoon-like superhero. This comedy stars Jim Carrey and Cameron Diaz.

The Parent Trap (1998)

Twins separated at birth who discover each other at summer camp. They conjure up a plan to get their divorced parents back together by switching places. This family film stars Lindsey Lohan, Dennis Quaid, and Natasha Richardson.
