Drinkers Pub is a great happy hour sports bar with a traditional tavern feel in Rittenhouse Square. It’s named one of Philadelphia’s go-to dive bars and offers affordable food and drink, and a very casual atmosphere. The happy hour features 50-cent wings until 9pm, $3 PBR, $4 Yuengling Lager, and half off everything behind the bar between 5:30pm and 7:30pm.
Mad River Bar & Grille is probably one of my favorite Manayunk bars to dance the night away. With different happy hours each day of the week, endless music and indoor or outdoor areas to choose from, Mad River is a place to check out and break out your favorite dance moves.
BarLy restaurant and sports bar, located in Chinatown, has a great happy hour Wednesday through Saturday that’s worth the trip into the city. It may be one of the best spots where great location and food and drink specials meet. With industrial interior details and TVs in just about any corner, BarLy is great place to meet with friends or watch your favorite sports team. Happy Hour is held from 3:30pm-6:30pm and 10pm-12am, offering $3 food specials, $4.25 cocktails, $4 martinis, $3.50 wine, $5 wine flights, and $3.50 beer specials.
1100 Social, bar and restaurant located at Xfinity Live, is a prime spot for sports and food lovers. This sports bar has indoor and outdoor seating with a fun atmosphere. Located next to the Lincoln Financial Field and Wells Fargo Center, it’s a great place go before or after a concert or football game.
Dolphin Tavern, located on South Broad Street, is a combination of one of the most affordable happy hours and nightclub scenes. It’s a vibrant location with glowing walls, go-go dancers, and themed nights including Off the Wall and Holy Trinity to get your dance on. Dolphin Tavern happy hour includes $1 tecactes and well drinks from 9pm to 10pm, and a variety of events throughout the week.
Johnny Mananas, known for their Mexican and Tex-Mex cuisine, is located in East Falls right along the Schuylkill River. Their delicious food and mason-jar margaritas are great, and the colorful interior details and music are an added bonus. Happy hour is Monday through Friday from 4:30pm to 6:30pm!
