5 Recently Released Albums I’ve Had on Repeat

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at IUP chapter.

After a while, I get tired of listening to the same playlists over and over again. This is why I consider new music releases a true gift from above. Here are just about the only albums I’ve been listening to for the past month, I hope you enjoy them too!

1. Good at Falling by The Japanese House

This is probably one of my favorite albums right now. The singer’s voice glides over the moody tone in such a majestic way that it will have you probably dancing and crying at the same time

2. Wasteland, Baby! by Hozier

Finally, after blowing us all away with his popular single “Take Me to Church,” he releases another album filled with more masterpieces six years later. This album is a bit heavier sounding than his first one, but I personally prefer this indie rock album.

3. GARAGEB& by Jesse

Jesse Rutherford is the lead singer of The Neighbourhood, who released “Sweater Weather” back in 2013 if you don’t remember. This is Jesse’s second solo album, and I think he is truly finding his own sound. It has a truly alternative tone, as it was produced almost completely by Jesse on the GarageBand app.

4. When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? by Billie Eilish

This album has hit No.1 on the Billboard 200, so obviously many people love it. Billie recently blew up in popularity, which she deserves with her songwriting talents and amazing voice control. I listen to at least some of this dark pop album every day.

5. Free Spirit by Khalid

I think that this album is better than his first one because his music style has matured. This album is fun and catchy as Khalid blesses us with his heavenly voice as usual.

What are your favorite albums right now?
