Guys. We are so close to the end of this semester. I know it’s been a stressful one for a lot of us, but pretty soon we’ll be stuffing our faces with mashed potatoes and getting gifts together for our friends and family. I know towards the end of a semester, we all start getting a little drained and a lot less motivated than we were in the beginning. So, to end strong, just follow these tips and tricks and you’ll end this semester stronger than ever!

Make Use of Your Planner

I’m the type of person who can be pretty unorganized. So, my planner is the only thing that keeps my sane during this hectic time of the year. I like to keep mine color coded – work is one color and each class is another color. That way it’s super easy to keep track of what tests or assignments I have coming up and how far in advance I need to study.

Take Time for Yourself

I’m also the type of person who is constantly running around and never cutting myself some slack. Sometimes you just need to curl up and watch movies all day, take a bubble bath, and catch up on some sleep. If you don’t take time for yourself, you’re going to be emotionally and physically drained. So treat yourself every once in a while!

Study… Even If You Don’t Want To

I am also the type to find any and every excuse to avoid studying. The way I am able to keep myself accountable and do what I need to do is get out of my apartment. I try my best to go to a coffee shop or the library so I can reward myself for actually studying. While this habit can potentially be expensive….. that A was worth it.

Don’t….

There are a lot of things that aren’t going to help you towards the end of the semester. Here are a couple of my tips:

Don’t cram for a test. Take time to study. You should plan out a couple days before, at least, to study for a big test you have coming up.

Don’t pull an all-nighter. This is just going to exhaust you even more, and chances are, you’re going to forget everything you tried to study for after passing out.

Don’t be distracted. Put your phone down for a little bit and focus on the task at hand. People have a hard time studying when their phone dings, and trust me I get it, so focus on being present and you will ace your finals.

We’re so close to the end! We can’t give up yet. Follow these tips and tricks and you will ace your finals and end strong!
