Meet Heather Tomkowicz, a Her Campus Hamilton Writer!
Name: Heather Tomkowicz
Class Year: 2018
Major: Creative Writing
What are you involved with on campus?
I am a co-director for this year’s Leadership Experience and Preparation class for freshmen, which is run through the Levitt Center. I write for Her Campus and Hamilton’s chapter of the Odyssey Online. I have also participated in the Levitt Center’s Project SHINE in the past, and I work at the ITS Help Desk in the library.
What do you enjoy the most about writing for Her Campus?
I think it’s a really great website, and it’s such a good resource for college women. I love being a part of that resource and network. Plus, it’s really fun!
What is your favorite Opus lunch?
I really love the peanut noodles at Opus 2. They’re my weakness. Opus brunch is amazing too!
What is your favorite show on Netflix right now?
I was obssessed with Making a Murderer. I finished it so quickly.
If you could go anywhere this summer, where would you go?
I would go to Sorrento, Italy. I’ve been there before, and it’s the most magical place on the planet. Plus, the pasta and pizza are delicious.
What would you tell accepted students who are thinking about coming to Hamilton next fall?
I would tell them that they should definitely come to Hamilton! Coming here was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The people and the culture are so accepting and amazing. I’m convinced that everyone can find a home here at Hamilton.
