You’ve know the bus comes. You’ve seen it around town. You’ve been waiting at the bus stop for two hours.

Your friend is walking you through her town while you’re visiting. One slab of sidewalk is covered with a spiderweb of cracks Your friend jumps over. You ask why and she responds, “We don’t step on the cracks.”

Driving down the road, you see someone in black start to cross the street. You slam on your breaks and look around. You guess they were a fast runner.

The train goes by every day. And, despite your best efforts, you always end up on the wrong side.

You hum a tune under your breath. As you walk to class, you pass many classmates and you all are humming the same tune.
