Why did you join Her Campus?
KC: I enjoy writing and wanted to be a part of a writing community. HC appealed to me because it’s a pro-feminism website for college men and women and it’s inclusive of everyone, no one is ever left out.
How has Her Campus made you an empowered college woman?
KC: Her Campus has allowed me to talk freely of issues and challenges that college women, myself in particular, face without feeling ashamed of who I am as a woman.
What are your career aspirations?
KC: I want to work for the Department of State so I can work and live abroad.
What else are you involved in on campus?
KC: I’m involved in Intelligence Community Club, Russian Club, Pride Alliance, Agora, Model UN, UNICEF, and the GMU Organic Gardening Association.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
KC: I love to read urban fantasy novels, as well as watch rom-coms and crime shows on Netflix.
Is there anything else that you want people to know about you?
I’m very approachable, so don’t be afraid to say “hi” if you see me on campus!
