Places We Love: Hana Tokyo

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Fairfield chapter.

“Where should we go to eat?” Ah, the dreaded question.

This situation is one we know all to well, you say you’ll eat anywhere because you’re hungry and not picky, but you’re actually so tired of the same old Italian or American food. Luckily for you, we’ve discovered the best kept Fairfield secret: Hana Tokyo, a new hibachi restaurant right in Brick Walk on Post Road.

Hana Tokyo has food that’s just as great as the service, and offers a unique experience where a chef performs a live cooking show right in front of you. Not to mention, you get a lot of food for what you’re paying! Yes, please.

If you’re a foodie you owe it to yourself to try Hana Tokyo, because we left very pleased after our visit. Their fried rice was the best I’ve ever had, and their hibachi chicken and steak was so fresh. As if that’s not enough, the sushi entrees are also delicious (I recommend the shrimp tempura).

Look no further for a parent’s weekend destination, because this is it. Its location is tucked away and not too crazy, with plenty of parking. Enjoy your Hana Tokyo Hibachi, and you’re welcome!
