You know that feeling when a crowd of people surrounds you, but you still feel alone? That’s what the main dining hall feels like during peak hours. Hunger Games-esque behavior ensues during activities periods and at dinner around 5:30. Here’s what happens when the hunger monster strikes:
1. Well… There probably isn’t going to be any seating available.
2. Do all of these people actually go to Emmanuel?!
3. *Waits in sandwich line for 15 minutes and there are still 10 people ahead of you* Yeah… I’m going to get pizza instead.
4. Are you kidding me? Did you just take my burger in the grill line? I was in front of you!
5. The “comfort food” doesn’t look that comforting today….
6. So, if there are 10 people in the stir-fry line, I would be the third group to be served and that would take approximately 25 minutes…. I’m going to get pizza.
7. All of the ketchup is gone! WHY, WHY, WHY?!
8. Ugh this pasta line is so long and the pizza is right there… I guess I’ll just eat a piece while I wait. It’s basically asking me to…
9. You don’t need to perfectly drizzle your salad dressing. I just want some ranch for my pizza crust.
10. *When you finally sit down with your food* I should’ve just gotten pizza.
