11 Ways To Eat Chocolate You Probably Haven’t Thought of Yet

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Davidson chapter.

I am not ashamed to admit that chocolate is one of my absolute favorite foods. I mean, it might as well be its own food category since you can literally consume it hundreds of ways. In the spirit of adventure, I invite you to skip the regular ol’ brownies and Hershey bars this Valentine’s Day, and try chocolate a different way!

1. Chocolate Covered Fruit

Of course, the typical chocolate covered strawberry makes an appearance every Valentine’s Day, but why stop at strawberries? Virtually any fruit is guaranteed to taste 300% better when dipped in chocolate – actual scientific fact. Psst! My personal faves are oranges, apples, and cherries.

2. Chocolate Grilled Cheese

I’m not sure why this is a thing, but I am definitely not going to question it. It actually looks kind of good, right? Here’s a recipe if you dare.

3. Edible Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

Don’t lie, you’re perfectly happy eating regular cookie dough, but it’s always better to have (safer) options

4. Chocolate Hummus

It sounds weird, but this recipe looks so good.

5. Reeses Dessert Spread

One of my personal top picks. “I put that s*** on everything!”

6. Chocolate Pasta

For when you’re feeling extra fancy.

7. Fondue

Literally one of the easiest things to make, ever. When it hardens, you get fudge too!

8. Chocolate Mug Cake

Perfect for busy college girls with a sweet tooth.

9. Cookie Brownies

It’s a marvelous mélange of the best of both the brownie and cookie worlds. Heavenly.

10. Cookies & Cream Bars

A grown-up version of just eating a whole sleeve of Oreos.

11. Chocolate Bread

You love bread, you love chocolate. Why not both AT THE SAME TIME?!

Happy eating!
