9 Best Signs At The Cambridge/Boston Women’s March 2018

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Clark chapter.

The second annual march for women’s rights occurred throughout the United States and supporting countries this past weekend. The values of the Women’s March Movement are of “fairness, inclusion, and dignity for all people, especially those most marginalized by diverse and harmful agenda,” according to the January Coalition.

While the January Coalition did not form the original Women’s March, the organization has been pursuing social justice in Massachusetts for many decades.

The list of speakers included both elected officials and community members, ranging from Congresswoman Katherine Clarke and State Representative Marjorie Decker to Massachusetts Peace Action (MAPA) Assistant Director Michelle Cunha and American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Massachusetts Staff Counsel and Community Advocate Laura Rótolo. Musical guests included Vocal Opposition.

Over five thousand people attended, many with signs. Here are our favorites!
