Kelsey Baldridge: A Girl Who Can Do it All

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Cincinnati chapter.
Kelsey Baldridge is a third year psychology major. Balancing school, work, Army and a sorority can be challenging at times but she still prospers and is headstrong through it all.

HC: Why did you choose Phi Mu?

I chose Phi MU because I didn’t feel pressured to be someone I’m not, it was easy.

HC: What is your favorite memory being in Phi Mu?

My favorite Phi Mu memory is probably when I came home from AIT and basic Training for the Army. It was so nice seeing the people who supported me through my journey as excited to see me as I was to see them.

HC: What’s it like being a woman in male dominated field?

I think it is extremely competitive and sometimes I feel as though it is impossible. Everything is held to a male standard, it can be a lot sometimes.

HC: Why did you join the Army?

It bettered myself and I wanted to be apart of something bigger than myself. I wanted to be the change I want to see in the world.
