Fall is in full swing right now. The temperature is dropping and all around campus people are starting to bundle up. There are numerous cool weather accessories be it a knitted headband, beanie or gloves but scarves steal the show for this writer! Scarves provide an easy non-hassle way to dress up a signature t-shirt and jeans look.

Here are three scarves that will keep you warm this fall and wont leave your wallet crying.

Altar’d State Two-Tone Pastel Infinity Scarf in Taupe & Beige $29.95

1.     This two-toned infinity scarf would be the perfect addition to any outfit. The classic infinity scarf gets a new makeover when this color duo is introduced. The neutrals in this scarf will really compliment any color in one’s fall wardrobe. I would recommend pairing this scarf with a nice deep red or burgundy colored top.

Forever 21 Fringe Marled Triangle Scarf $19.90

2.     This cream triangle scarf adds a boho element to any outfit. With fringed edges and a soft hand, this scarf is sure to take one’s outfit to the next level. Pair with dark wash skinny jeans and some booties for a complete effortless look.

American Eagle Heritage Plaid Blanket scarf  $34.95

3.     Blanket scarfs are the greatest creation. It is a socially acceptable way to wear a blanket in public. This blanket scarf has a great oversize silhouette as well as an adorable plaid pattern. This scarf will surly be the center of ones outfit this fall.

Scarves are great accessories and can be worn multiple ways. Here are some of my favorite ways to wear scarves:

1.     Belted

Throwing a cute scarf over a plain top really adds a pop to a simple outfit. This type of look works great with blanket scarves like the American Eagle one mentioned above.

One Loop

2.    Another great way to wear scarves is with one loop. I see a lot of double loops around campus but lets not forget the one loop! It is simple and will really show off the pattern of the scarf that sometimes gets hidden when double looping.

Cardigan

3.     Scarves can also double as cardigans. This is especially great to do with blanket scarves because they tend to be nice and long. All one needs to do to create a cardigan like wrap is to fold the scarf into a triangle and draped over their arms

I hope these ideas inspire some intricate scarf wearing around campus! What is your favorite way to wear a scarf? Let us know in the comments.
