Ways Course Registration is Like the Hunger Games

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Chapman chapter.

The end of every semester brings about stress since that means it’s time to pick the next term’s courses. Between balancing our tight schedules and taking classes we’re actually interested in, registration is never an easy process.

We’re all waiting on the millisecond of when our registration window opens and it’s 1, 2, 3 GO.

The lowest class (freshman) have the worst odds in the competition with their late registration dates.

It’s a survival of the fittest when it comes to competing with everyone in your major. Everyone’s vying for that one prerequisite we all need. And if you’re a business major, forget it.

There’s constant obstacles. This class was just in my shopping cart and now it’s full, really?!?

We all have to make sacrifices. What do you do when you’re comm class and bio lab conflict?

At the end of it all, we’re exhausted and dreading next year when we have to compete for the perfect schedule again.

May the odds ever be in your favor this registration term.
