Describe your perfect date.
I’d love a date with not a lot of effort thrown into it, so that is easy for both of us and that we feel comfortable. I’d want us both to be relaxed, not have to worry about anything in the surrounding area or what is happening around us, and just be able to be really chill and ourselves. Maybe start with a movie, then a walk on the beach, or get some ice cream and then end on the beach talking. Just something low key.
What are you looking for in a partner?
I’m looking for someone who is ambitious and driven. I am a very goal oriented person and want a partner to climb the ladder with me. One of my biggest pet peeves is when people don’t want to do things because the idea catches them off guard or they haven’t done it. I used to be that way and now that I am this adventurous person I need someone to do the adventures with me.
What are some of your hobbies?
I love being with other people. I love other people’s energy, and I get a lot of my energy from their energy. Being from Hawaii I love to do anything outdoors like hiking or going to the beach, even though I don’t get to do it much because of class. I also love listening to music. Journey is such a classic but right now I LOVE Solange’s new album.
What is your dream job?
I used to want to be a creative director for a graphic design agency, I just knew that. Right now I’m working for a place where now I want to be the CMO. He basically is the creative director but also has a hand in all of the marketing projects. I want to do that.
What are 3 things you cannot live without?
My laptop, my mom because she’s my best friend and I’ll let you know the third…
What are 3 words you’d use to describe yourself?
Ambitious, inquisitive and positive.
What are some fun facts about you?
I peaked really early. By that I mean I wrestled for six years and did judo for eight and that is when I peaked because during that time I was my island’s champion for the sport and now I don’t even work out. What else… I broke my left big toe twice, and also my dad was an Olympic Weight Lifter.
If you could have dinner with someone dead or alive who would it be?
Anderson Cooper. He seems so wise through all of his experiences, and he is ‘such a Daddy.’
What is your favorite thing about Chapman?
The people. The demographics get ragged on but to be completely honest, the people here have changed my life for the better because of their attitudes. That’s my favorite thing.”
