Summer Bucketlist for Adults
Ah, Summer!!! A wonderful time of the year where every beach with clear waters is calling everyon'es name. No more stressing over class assignments and more time for relaxation. Some of us may usually spend these hot summer months by going swimming or have a family cookout with cousins you meet every X years. But now, we're adults....young adults and now is the time to have the best summer of our lives!! Wondering what adventures young adults do over the summer? No problem, listed in this slide are a few cool things you or a group of young adults can enjoy during the best 2-3 months of the year.
Find a BOMB Internship
Put your area of study to good use this summer by gaining experience in a workplace. Even if it is not your ideal internship (shadowing at Vogue Magazine), we must start somewhere in order to create a bigger chance of interning at our dream job.Take a road trip
Road trips (no longer than 4-5 hours) are surprisingly therapeutic. Especially with the company of enjoyable people. Food breaks in between are the best part of a road trip.
Start a blog
Share your interests with others. Even if you only have 5 faithful viewers, it’s the idea of expressing yourself that is rewarding. Share your latest outfits, critique food, etc.
Try DIYs
‘Do it yourself’ tutorials are probably the best things to grace the internet. All faithful pinterest users know the pleasurable feeling of learning a new DIY. There are many created for summer specifically. There’s cooler ways to make candles, chairs, ANYTHING…and you can do it right at home.
Be a thrifter
Not all of our clothes have to be $119 jean jackets from Topshop. There’s amazingly affordoable, stylish clothes you can find while thrifting. Although Goodwill may be the first place that comes to mind, there are so many other great thrift stores to choose from.Go see Beyonce!!!
Although this is not an idea that determines your success, it comes pretty close; Attend a Beyonce’ concert this summer, because you were going to attend a concert anyway and the Formation Tour is upon us. Yes it will cost you an arm and a let, but it’s okay.
